My Problem
My dock connector had some corrosion on it and the only alternative that the Apple folks gave me was to trash the phone. They wanted me to either pay $200 for a new Iphone 4S or renew my contract for an Iphone 5s
My Fix
I took my time and was able to accomplish everything required. Your video was a little vague compared to the instruction manuals
My Advice
Take your time and watch each step on YouTube and also have the repair guide available for reference
