My Problem

My original battery was completely fried to the point that if running on windows I had to unplug the battery from the motherboard to prevent shutdown within 5 minutes of starting the computer.

My Fix

The repair didn't take too long, although I had to put the security screws in in a more "discrete" way in order to get all 3 of them in. Basically had to insert all of the screws into the proper location before screwing them in at all.

My Advice

I'd just recommend all of the security screws are lined up. The battery I received was like new and is working great so far. When possible try and make the battery last as long as possible by draining it (to around 1-3%) at least once a week. Also, make sure you have the proper screwdriver. I used a Tri-Wing Y0 (I believe) that I got in a package for $6 from a local store.
