The Mac mini initially shipped with a PowerPC G4 processor. PowerPC Mac minis shipped with processor speeds of 1.25, 1.33, 1.42, or 1.5 GHz. The PowerPC Mac mini was introduced January 2005, and is Model A1103.
The PowerPC Mac mini offers a single RAM slot, enabling a maximum of 1 GB of RAM. If your mini's RAM isn't already maxed out, adding more RAM will substantially improve performance. Need more storage? You can install a massive 320 GB 5400 RPM ATA hard drive for more headroom. If you don't have DVD-burning capabilities already, it's easy to add a blazing-fast 8x SuperDrive to your mini.
