The battery in your phone is the single most important component in the whole device, but it is the easiest to repair. Using this guide, you will be able to install a replacement battery if yours is defective or you just want that extra talk time.

Firat, make sure your workspace is clear, and you are ready to swap out the battery. Also make sure your phone is turned off, as shown in step 1, and that you have an suitable replacement battery ready to change the battery.

Insert the replacement battery by gently pushing it into the slot at an angle, and then pressing down the higher end until the retaining catch clicks over the battery, holding it in place.
Be careful about putting the battery under the black catch, it can break if too much force is applied.
Place the battery cover back on the phone at an angle to fit in the bottom catch, and push down to replace the battery cover.
Charge the phone for 24 hours before using the phone to properly initialize the new battery. This isn't required, but it will speed up the "break in" period with the new battery.
