my ipod nano is broken,and i have only had it for 10 months.

i took the front cover off my ipod 30gb but no metal framework on front cover i know it had a pretty hard drop i read the online ifixit guide but didnt read far enough to know about metal piece that came off with front cover and take out 3 screws i ordered new front cover and proper opening tool will i be able to get metal frame and install it on new front cover and fixit right fifth gen video

yeah look for ipod 5g framework i had one but it was ruined:(
