ipad 3 backlight problem
I recentyly replaced a cracked touch-screen on my ipad 3, however, i found that the backlights on the righthand side is not working. The screen on the lefthand side is more brightnes than the righthand side.
Did anyone know how to fix it? Thank you.

This issue is caused by accidentally shorting out a backlight coil, IC, and/or filter while removing the LCD ribbon cable. Remember to always turn off your device before doing any repair work or if possible let the iPad battery drain fully. I have learned this by making a couple mistakes myself...

After replacing the screen on my ipad 3 the right side was slightly dimmer. Because everything else about the repair worked perfectly I've been hesitant to disassemble it again. I think this may have something to do with the display cable connector. Perhaps the cable isn't seated properly.

This problem also happens to me, I tried the solution provided, but not solved. It may be due to a hardware problem in the motherboard of iPad 3?
