What does my Wii's blinking disc light mean?
I know the wii blinks when it is updating but mine would light up, blink, and light off repeatedly for a few days until i hold power to shut it down.
Is something wrong with it? The wii is connected to my wifi and the connection works.

This is because there is a new message. Check your messages from a couple of days ago, and the light will disappear. The light can be turned off through your WiiConnect 24 settings.

Skippy722 is right, also when you put a disc in it will flash for a second or so. You can stop receiving messages from Nintendo by selecting the option to 'stop sending messages' (or similar) on the message itself. Once you have played your wii for more than one minute, a message will appear telling you how long you have played and on what game/channel. These messages however do not make the disc drive blink as you cannot delete them.
