Continual Filter Error Message

I have a GSS23GYPFCFS fridge less than 6 months old. It will continually give a Filter Error Message. If I unscrew the filter and screw back on it may work for 1 day, or may work for 10 days, then happens again. I replaced with an official GE filter of the right number and it did not make any difference
