Switch not outputting via HDMI

My Switch stopped working with my TV overnight - there was no power outage or anything, it just stopped displaying anything via HDMI.

I’ve seen similar threads where users suggested power cycling the TV, trying different ports etc. but that doesn’t seem to be the case here since I’ve tried it on another TV and my PC monitor with no success. I’m sure that the dock is okay - a different console works perfectly fine on my dock while my Switch doesn’t work with a different dock either, I’ve also tried a USB C hub with HDMI output which didn’t work too.

Is there anything else I can try before sending it off to a repair shop? My console is already nearly 7 years old (Mario Odyssey version) but works perfectly fine, apart from the TV output. If the console is indeed faulty, what could be the cause? I’m guessing it’s going to be a way more serious repair than just replacing the USB C port since it charges without issues.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tried a seprate HDMI cable for that port?

Both the original Nintendo one, other cables that work with my Xbox for example and even a completely new one - no luck.

Have you tried a factory reset?

Yup, didn’t help either

Maybe a solder joint cracked? Take a look at the charging port and P13 chip, reflow them if you're able. (The port has extra pins tucked under it, so it requires hot air)
