Sony AX53 Camera Screen Black but Touch input works

My AX53 never gave issues until recently when the screen started to go black at odd times. It started only when I would move and rotate the screen, then it would happen only after the camera was on for a few minutes (no movement needed). Now the screen is permanently black, and every blue moon the screen would turn on for a few seconds when I power it on.

The first odd part about this is that touch screen works perfectly. So I get around using a portable HDMI screen. I used my phone's flash light to see if it was an inverter issue, and it wasn't, the screen's truly blacked out...

The second odd part about this is that the EVF (Electronic View Finder) also goes black when this happens, so I can't see anything from both the screen and the EVF. This confirmed that it probably wasn't the inverter.

Anyone have any ideas?
