" YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!"
I'M 85 YRS YOUNG, LEARNING FROM YOU YOUNG FOLKS STILL.
I have a Samsung camera I really enjoy using, no cost to develop the pictures etc. I have had it about 2 years. ( SL30 ) The LCD monitor has bit by bit turned black. The picture are still great , but I can not aim correctly as the subject I am shooting can not be seen.
From research on the computer, i understand THIS IS A RECURRING HAPPENING, WITH THE Samsung CAMERA. I SEE NO WAY TO DISMANTLE MY CAMERA. HOWEVER, (I HESITATE TO USE A SLEDGE HAMMER AT THIS POINT.)
My Mother taught us before discarding anything , if it was able to be fixed, You learn from trying, So we took it apart. Some times we could not reassemble it. some times we could. Those times were very rewarding and we did not have to spend money for a replacement.
So, Mr Fix its, Can you tell me how to clear up the LCD monitor?
Good luck I hope this idea catches on.
there is way to many things ( stuff )_ being thrown out to the dump. That could be repaired. If we could get a class started in every high school in the UNITED STATES, we would have a lot of kids tinkering with fix it projects , and off the streets 9 get them interested in other things.
Is this a good question?
