Is it okay to clean my phone’s charging port with nylon picks?

I’ve had an iPhone 13 Pro for a while and the time has come for me to remove some debris from the charging port. I was looking on Amazon for tools and I found a cheap, disposable set of nylon picks that are made for cleaning firearms but they look like they’d do the trick.

Is that material safe to use for this kind of thing?

I would think your little nylon picks would be a good choice. The main things to avoid are metal, so you don't short the pins together while cleaning, and metal, something hard enough to damage the pins. So your nylon picks meet both criteria and will work great.

An eyeglass microfiber cloth and some 90% or higher concentration isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, along with a nice bright light and magnifying glass would be the other things I'd want on hand. That should get you going; just take your time and be careful and you shouldn't have any problems.
