Ps3 turns on, green light, no video signal, usb not working

I recently bought a ps3 CECHC04 and after I plugged it in with HDMI it worked normally for like a minute and then the whole image started to distort into green and blue colors and eventually no more video output. In the beginning the usb ports worked and after the image distorted, it stopped working (no power to controllers).

After that happened the ps3 still turns on with a green light and the fans spin pretty fast but i have no video output and the usb ports dont work.

Interestingly, after I disassebled the ps3, put new thermal paste on and cleaned it, the exact same scenario with the screen distorting happened again and now Im at the same point as before.

I appreaciate any help

I am not familiar with the PS3 and i might give a wrong answer but the problem may lay in the motherboard or software and you may need to get it replaced/reinstalled
