Hi @gregoryken50140,

Do you mean that there's no WiFi signal or no signal in general i.e. no GSM and no WiFi?

What do you mean by "...the motherboards is a bit slanted..."?

Has the phone been dropped or damaged in any way?

Is the board loose in the case?

Sorry for the confusion. There's a wifi in our house but the phone cant detect it. The phone has no signal.

My phone was crushed by a vehicle passing when i accidentally dropped it. Then i went to a repairshop to have it repaired since i've got some important files and photos in there. However the motherboard was a bit slanted due to the incident. I am not sure what is the reason though why the hss no signal and cant detect the wifi. I think theres some part that needs to be changed.

Hi @gregoryken50140

If the WiFi is turning on OK place the phone as close as possible to the home network router i.e. <10cm and check if it detects the network.

If it does, it may be a loose or disconnected antenna problem

Here's an image taken from this teardown video showing the location of the antenna connections

If still no good here's the service manual for the phone that will help. It has the troubleshooting flowcharts for all the major function, board layouts and a parts list to help find the correct part if one is faulty.

For future reference it may be advisable to perform regular phone backups to the cloud and/or store all your important data on the SD Card in the phone. The phone supports a micro SD card with a capacity up to 512GB. That way if the phone is ever non operative or damaged again you can still access your data although hopefully the SD card wouldn't be damaged as well

Did you pay for a "full repair" i.e. phone totally working? If so take it back to the repairer and ask them to fix it. Bit surprised that they didn't check all functions were working before handing it back to you.
