The way to do this is, make sure the keyboard is not connected to the CPU. After that, disassemble the CTRL button using a screwdriver or using a ballpoint pen. Please note that you really have to be careful when prying it. After being pried, immediately clean it, especially the rubber part, with cotton wool or a cotton bud. After cleaning, the next step is to re-enter the CTRL button and press it until it "clicks". After that, reconnect to the CPU and see the results.
