Why is my laptop saying “No battery?”

I bought a battery in May, installed it and calibrated it as instructed. Everything works well.4 months pass, I don’t use it and when I charge it, the outlet begins to sizzle and I notice the no battery on my laptop. I shut it down, take out the battery and install it again, only to get the same result. It’s not the outlet because it doesn’t sizzle when I charge other things and I tried in different ones as well. I can’t contact customer support about it because they don’t assist with technical or device support.

Laptop batteries that have not been used for a long time often have dead cells. You can replace the battery with a new one or send it to a repair shop to reactivate the battery's cells.

It is important that the battery capacity (Mah) is still good.

I think that should probably be put in the description of the batteries they sell. I’m not really tech savvy so I didn’t know. Thanks for letting me know
