Where to buy replacement logic board?

So upset, got this in 2005, had a new logic board repair in 2010 now the logic board has gone again and Apple tell me this is now an obsolete machine and no parts can be ordered via Apple Service Centres, any suggestions on repair or locating parts ? I suppose I could always recycle it as a doorstop......

BTW - Apple also told me its now their policy to give their products a max 5 year lifespan - might want to bear that in mind when parting with another £1000+

Please tell us what this is doing or not doing. The iMac G5 was known for having problems with capacitors on the logic board and in the power supply. You have not given any real information on the problem(s) you are having with this machine and we can only give answers based on the information you give.

As to your rant about the life expectancy of an Apple computer - it's the same story for any brand of computer, they are not dishwashers or toasters. Remember, even Lazarus was resurrected only once.

+ The place is a bit pricey, but does answer their question with the very limited amount of information they have given. On a side note: You must have more faith in modern dishwashers and toasters than I do.
