Is the HDD (hard disk drive) light, which is also on the front of the computer, on or off?
If the Hard Drive light is off, it is probable that the power supply needs to be replaced.
If the Hard Drive light is on, look at the diagnostic lights on the back of the desktop case to see what they show.
