hello Mpho Rantao

To activate the keyboard backlight on your HP ProBook 430 G1, you can use the following steps:

  1. Press the "F5" key on your keyboard to see if it activates the backlight.
  2. If the above step doesn't work, try holding down the "Fn" key and then pressing the "F11" key.
  3. If the backlight still doesn't turn on, make sure that it is enabled in the BIOS settings. Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the "F10" key to enter the BIOS settings. Once in the BIOS, navigate to the "System Configuration" menu and select "Keyboard Backlight". Make sure it is set to "Enabled".
  4. If the backlight still does not turn on, there may be a hardware issue and you should contact HP support for further assistance.
