Display LCD chips overheating

After replacing a cracked digitiser screen the chips at the bottom of the LCD display are getting very hot during use, I estimate 40 - 50 oC and eventually the digitiser loses sensitivity. It cools down when no apps are being used and is then ok. It takes about 30 minutes of game play to get hot. Any suggestions welcome.

It doesn’t sound like a problem to me, seems to be expected behavior.

Thanks, but I didn't expect it as it didn't happen before I changed the digitiser screen. Is it normal for the screen to lose all touch sensitivity after 30 minutes?

Regards

Bob

@bob_pluck losing sensitivity shouldn’t happen, but your description is too vague to tell for sure. Which chip is overheating?

The row at the bottom rear of the LCD display. Highest temperature at the cable end of the strip.

I have tried to attach an image but not sure if it has worked.
