Power connector pulled off motherboard and metal pieces are missing.

Block Image

Hi, my problem is that I removed the power cable and the connecter on the mother board came off with the power cable. The metal bits connected to the power connecter have came off and I no longer have then. Is their anyway I could fix this?

Chosen Solution

You could

  1. Take the connector off and solder both wires directly to the motherboard, or
  2. Salvage the metal bits of another connector(from scrap electronics), insert those pins into the holes on this connector, zolder the pins onto the motherboard (slide the plastic piece up), slide the plastic piece back down, and reconnect the needed components.
