Brookstone Rover 2 Wifi spy tank

''I have a Rover 2, wifi spy tank toy distributed by Brookstone. 

Brookstone went bankrupt in 2018.

Don’t know if it works because I can’t find an app that will control it; apparently it was on the Apple app site (for iOS) but has been removed.

An app would be nice, alternatively a mod to make it work would be awesome.

The Rover 2 is a futuristic little streamlined tank powered by two treads, one on either side. A small WiFi antenna screws into the top, and six AA batteries are loaded into the bottom. Flip on the power switch and the Rover sets up its own WiFi network. It seems to take about a minute for a little blinking green LED to appear atop the tank, signifying that the network is up and running. The Rover Spy Tank is app-controlled via your iPod touch (2nd, 3rd and 4th generation), iPhone device, or iPad tablet. It generates its own Wi-Fi wireless connection for your smart device (no frequency interference).
