Why does my phone heat when I put the battery in it

my phone get hot when i inset the battery. and it is of and can not be turn on

Phones heating up greatly when a battery is plugged in AND not being able to turn on is usually a sign of a short. I am not personally familiar with this phone but if you had to take it apart and reassemble to put the battery in you may have re-assembled incorrectly. Water damage can also cause shorts to happen. Further options still is that the battery is a serious dud. There is a user guide that shows how to take the phone apart, you may try using that to inspect the inside of your phone, looking for corrosion or anything that looks funny.

Nokia phones are known to have issues with the prongs that connect motherboard to battery.. I'd start looking there too

and you can download the service manual from here It does have the flowchart for the charging circuit, recommending to check that the voltage is 0.4VDC at R2071, so could be that you have a bad resistor. Proceed with what Phillip Takahashi and pollytintop suggest. Good Luck
