abdulaziz, you should not have to use a transformer at all. the power supply in the PS3 Slim have universal power supply to be able to operate 100-240V 50/60Hz. All you may need is a power cord from the power supply to the electrical outlet.

mine is not 110v it only handle 220v . I had read the back of PS3 it say that it only will work with 220v i tried 110v but it didn't work

abdulaziz,

Have you actually taken a look at the inside on your power supply? Just make sure, it is not uncommon to have it labelled on the outside for the origin country. I have not heard of Sony using separate power supplies for different countries, but anything is possible. Anyway, instead of buying a transformer, get a power supply for the 110V they are easily available and not a bad price http://www.thegamersfix.com/product.php?... Are you sure yours won't work on 110???:-)

oldturkey03,

yes I'm Sure ... Thank you bro can you tell me how i can change the power supply by video or images plz?

abdulaziz,

there is a good guide here http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing-P... are you sure your power supply is not a dual power supply? I would hate for you to have to change it...;-)

oldturkey03,

what is the "dual power supply" ? can you tell me please ? how can I know if my ps3 dual ? do you want me to take a picture of my PS3 slim and up upload it here ?
