2009 MacBook Pro won't take PC3L RAM

Hi iFixit community! I’m not sure if the RAM I received is bad, but I’m currently trying to upgrade my MacBook to 8GB of RAM, and it beeps 3 times upon installing the new RAM. I’m not sure if this is the issue, but the RAM I ordered is SK Hynix PC3L 12800S RAM. I would greatly appreciate any help on the matter!

Ah, okay. I figured the speed of the RAM wasn’t the issue, more of it being low power DDR3. Thank you!
