Touch Screen Replacement problem
I replaced the touch screen on my tablet and now have a thin verticle line on the left side of the display. Other wise works ok.
Is this a good question?

Tracy Walker double check your work and check the connector. Make sure that everything is properly seated and that the LCD connector itself does not have any bend pins, debris etc. if everything checks out okay then the issue is a bad LCD.

Everything looks good connector-wise. The digitizer worked fine before I replaced the touch screen; even worked ok with the old, cracked screen in place. Like you I can only conclude that in the process of changing to the new one, something occurred to damage the LCD. The connector for it was never unhooked, so can't imagine how it got damaged. ..
Can agree on that, something happened during the install and the lcd got damage.

Did you buy the LCD and digitizer unit as one or the separated version?
