Camera got blurry because I dipped it in water.

My phone is Honor 10 but it was not in the selection.

I watched a video that the phone is water resistant so i just dipped it in swimming pool (just the camera) and recorded a video for 4-5 seconds.

After 5 mins the camera stopped working. Then after an hour there was fog in the camera. I put my phone in rice for a week so the camera and the phone started working good. Then after a week the camera got blurry(like it is out of focus). I tapped it 2-3 times and it started working properly.

Then this started happening more often and i used to tap it and it used to start working.

But now it's been 3-4 months and it's gone blurry and doesn't work even if I tap it but sometimes randomly starts working.

What would you suggest i should do?

Oh no, that sounds like a frustrating situation! Dipping your camera in water can certainly lead to blurry images due to damage to the lens or internal components. It's essential to avoid water exposure and seek professional assistance to assess and repair the damage. Stay hopeful, solutions are available!

AlpHa 69  sounds like it did get moisture in the camera. This may now have lead to corrosion. BTW Rice does not do anything for internal moisture unless you would have disassembled your phone. Even then, that is doubtful. Anyhow. Consider changing the camera and checking the rest of the internals for further liquid damage. Check on here for a teardown or this video to get you into the phone.
