Why does my machine say empty tray when it is empty.

My S7 display says empty tray but it is empty. And the display won't change. I tried to unplug and let sit for awhile. Doesn't help

Options

The brew group or one of the other water fitting lines is leaking water onto the electronics. If you correct the leaking water the board should dry out and the wrongly displayed empty the tray message will go away.
