Replaced analog sticks, now problem.

So I replaced my controllers analog sticks with a pair from another controller( the replacement sticks worked great on old controller ), desoldered/resoldered and everything seems to work except the right analog stick. In game it has the camera pointed straight up and is constantly spinning. Not sure where, or if, I went wrong. Has anyone ever experienced this when replacing analog sticks?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Sounds like a dead zone problem. Dead zones if you don’t know is the radius the console ignores input from. This prevents input from happening when the stick is not perfectly centered. When you resoldered, you might have messed with the dead zones. Some games in the options will allow to adjust the dead zone of the controller. Hope this helps.
