FE-340 will not stay on.

I have replaced the battery. When powered "on," the zoom lens moves back and forth, then remains "zoomed." The LCD screen remains black throughout the process--a couple of seconds--and the camera shuts off.

I know this was posted in 2018 but... did you ever fix it? I'm having the exact same issue.

@vincentdoria that sounds like a stuck lens. Most common issue on the point-and-shoot cameras. Can you elaborate on what it exactly is that your camera does? Anything that preceded this?

i have the same problem i have been trying to fix it for and hour now and nothing is working but if i put the USB cord in my computer i can download all of mt pic and the screan will tern on for the setting for that only
