Why does the top screen portion wiggles back and forward?

It seems that the problem that I have with my 2DS XL system is very common across the Nintendo DS family, so I wonder if you could help me getting together a fixing kit for this issue.

I’ll be Of great interest for me to buy it along with the Pro Tool Kit.

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, the New 2DS XL is like this from the factory. It should wobble a bit as it means its less likely to break from tension. You could try putting a small square of clear mounting tape on the back of the hinges to prevent wobbling, as done in this Reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/3DS/comments/8u...

Hi!

This is a common issue with all DS systems as you said, but there's not real fix (or not hat I know of) other than replacing the hinge or even the casing when the wiggle gets very bad

Yes all of the Nintendo ds series and their screens all have a little bit of Freeplay, if you don't want the Freeplay there is a 2ds that doesn't close unfortunately, but you won't have to deal with the screen wiggling back and forth.
