I had a battery leak and now I can!t leave batteries in it and it will

phyllisa76 that will depend on the damage. It is possible that the alkalinity of the battery residue corroded your contacts etc. We would need to see what the damage looks like. Post some images of that with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. The best way of determining repairability is by taking the camera apart and cleaning all affected parts first with a vinegar/sterile water mixture and final cleaning with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol.
