i was wondering if it was possible to replace the flex cable of the iphone 4 digitizers.

Not that we have found. They are attached to the digitizer and since you can't separate the LCD from the digitizer, you can't even get access to the place where the flex (or ribbon) cable connects. You'll have to replace the entire display assembly.
