My iPhone wont respond to touch please help?
Hey everyone. A couple of months ago i was sitting with my friends on a bench in the park. I dropped the iphone on the ground and it hit the grass. There were no rocks or anything so i thought i was fine. I turned it on and the screen was not damaged. It simply did not respond to touch. There are no blank pixels or anything. I've seen on this website that there is the front panel replacement kit. I don't know what to buy to fix my iphone. The warranty is over. I also want to buy the back case. The iphone is the Iphone 3g. What parts do i need to fix it? I know how to take it apart and how to replace parts, i just don't know what parts to buy. I've also tried the reset which you hold the home button and the lock button thing. It still doesn't work. Please help!
Thanks in advance

the glass is glued to the digitiser and although you can buy them as items on their own it is difficult to separate them and put them back together securely. you need to purchase the digitiser with the glass attached.
you may find that as there is no sign of damage you may be able to contact your phone provider for repair.
