RAM upgrade to 5GB possible?

History

Hi there,

I have a MB Pro A1260 series came on with the standart 1x2 GB of DDR2 667 rams total of 2gb as you know.I'd like to upgrade it to a 5gb as keeping one of my old 1gbs and ordering a 4gb new one and installing them both in the slots. Is it possible to use a macbook pro like this in 5gb of ram or should I seriously use a 2gb and 4gb in total of 6gb?

Thanks

You can do either, 6GB and 5GB are both insanely fast, so you pick if you want to also spend 60 bucks on this 2 gig chip or if you just want the 4gb.
