How do I adjust the radio volume

When listening to the radio with the headset there is a volume indicator, showing the lowest volume, on the right of the screen. I've tried pressing buttons at random but I cannot find a way of increasing the volume. Can you help please?

The manual for your device says to use the volume keys. It should be as simple as that.
