Upgrade logic board to newer model
Hello,
Question:
I have a macbook pro A1226 2.2 Ghz logic board laying around.
Is it possible to put this in an older model A1150 2 Ghz which has a broken logic board?

No. They have different plugs for the display inverter. There are also other reasons, but that one is the most obvious.
