We need more information than that to help you, what exactly happens when you press the power button? How far into the boot process does it get?

First troubleshooting step would be to replace the PRAM battery.

Sound's like a bad power supply, unfortunately, the computer is so old no one sells parts for it, so your best bet is either replacing it, or buying one off ebay and salvaging parts.
