iPhone 3GS screen repair
Sadly I dropped my iPhone 3GS on the brick pavement. Now the touch-screen is all but shattered glass. I heard about a fixing kit you can buy on amazone.com. Is there anybody out there with any experience with that kit? And does somebody have any experience with the repairement?

I ordered one of those $11 front panels off of Amazon and was not happy with the results. The black paint on the back of the glass was easily scratched and the digitizing action was erratic. It lasted about a week before I was fed up with it. I ordered an iFixit kit and my iPhone is practically new again.
Is the LCD damaged or just the glass?
