Paper Jam light and Ink light flashing

The paper jam light is flashing as well as the ink light. The power light is off. Printer does nothing. Tried the on line trouble shoot with no result. Called Epson Service and they said the printer was not working????? Gee I guess I can be a Epson Tech Rep. They tried to sell me a new printer. Can any one offer any help?

Same problem here. It happened after I loaded a new ink cartridge.
