My iPhone is turned on but the screen is gray

I turn on my phone and i know it is on because of the silent switch it vibrates. But when i turn my phone on all the screen does is turn gray i have turned the phone on and off 5 times now and it does nothing. The screen emits light but the screen stays Gray

Try a hard reset, hold power and home button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work try a DFU restore (Google DFU restore for the steps). If no luck there then you may have to follow Buddhika's recommendation.

Here is the teardown guide

Step 01

  • Check around lcd port any item was burned or missing

Step 02

  • Check Two filters connected to 1st and 2nd pins of LCD connector and thy should be 8 Ohms

Step 03

  • Near PM IC there is a inductior ( Coil) and capacitor (Filter) replace them

below image will help you to find them on logic board
