lights flash and beep in the end signal column.

the lights flash up and down the "end signal" column with the annoying beep that I can't stop, even after I open the door and dryer is not operating. This has happened for about a month. Now machine won't turn on at all, although interior light is on. There are 2 faint red parallel lines in the "estimated time remaining" window and in the "check lint screen" and "control locked" lights. No buttons work. I have shut off power and turned back on without any luck. Thanks for any help.
