Rectangles on lower part of the screen

After replacing the battery of my iPhone 5, some parts of the touchscreen started not responding, and then I got this row of rectangles on the lower part of the screen. What should I do? Thank you.

Hi there make sure you have the connectors seeded correctly this happens sometimes when you not fully pressed down.

Probably, this was the problem. However I went to an Apple Store, they didn't notice that the battery was replaced by me and they thought that it was still under warranty, so they fixed it.

I'm facing a similar problem with my iPhone 5s, I have not taken it apart or anything but I am seeing the same rectangles, but they are not as bold as they are in the picture, mine are more transparent. I am not able to use the bottom line of letters on my keyboard or able to swipe to unlock where it states to on the phone. I have tried turning it off and on, and restarting the phone and still they are there. I want to know if there is anyway I can fix it without taking apart the phone or taking it to an Apple store?

Did you drop your phone, or knock it into something prior to this happening?

It could be that the flex has come out of the socket slightly, to truly fix it you would probably need to open up the LCD and check the connections.

I did drop it once but it was in an otterbox and I thought its suppose to protect it from stuff like that

by

The otterbox can protect it from physical damage, but doesn't stop popped connectors.

is there a video on how to fix it? cause i have this problme also... is there anyway to fix it myself?

So the same thing happened to my friends phone and neither of us know how we are supposed to do. So how can we check the connections and is there a way we can fix that?
