Screen image inverted and colours distorted

The photo is not inverted, the phone screen is.

The colours of my screen change and the screen occasionally inverts. If I switch the LCD off and on again by locking the phone, it returns to normal for a few seconds to a minute.

I can't figure out what the problem is but its been getting progressively worse over the past few weeks. At first the colours only changed when viewing photos or videos, but now they are nearly constantly distorted.

My phone is jail broken but the problems persist in safe mode. I replaced the screen October last year in case that may have something to do with it.

Can anyone help me out? :)

To me it looks like you need a new screen I would check to see if the connectors are seeded correctly if they are and the problem is still there then it 100% needs a new screen to solve it.

Thanks for the reply con, I reattached the connectors a few times with no success. I could try a new screen but if it still doesn't work, the value of the phone is less than the price of a replacement screen.
