A tablet developed by HP in 2011 running the webOS platform. Boasts a 9.7" display, and is available in 16 or 32 GB. Repair is straightforward, but requires time and persistence.

Does not Sense Any Touch

Tablet is rooted (not sure if this is relevant) and worked well until it occasionally stopped responding to any touch, then suddenly it quit responding to any touch at all. Does this mean it is bricked or is it a hardware issue with the tablet?

It seems to be fine otherwise, but there is no way to control it.

If this is a hardware issue is there any way to use a mouse with it?

Can you recall if anything has happened to your tablet such as ever been dropped? Has any repairs been made on the device? When you rooted the tablet, was it done before or after July, 1, 2013? I ask for that date because at that point the root certificate may be expired as well, not sure that would be the issue but it might be.
