The curser not showing.

I am not sure of the answer, but I am having the same problem with the curser not showing. I did not download anything - was just working on a final paper for a Master's degree. I do not think I pressed anything other than alpha keys.

I have tried the fn + f9 and this does not work. I am still only able to use the touchscreen screen, and not the touchpad mouse.

Please let me know how to correct.

It's possible your setting for the mouse was changed and may be a simple solution try this:

1.Open Control Panel

2.Under "Hardware and Sound", click "Mouse" (Or Double-click the Mouse icon if you're in

Classic View)

3.Click the "Pointer Options" tab

4.Under "Visibility", remove the check from the "Hide pointer while typing" box.

5.Click OK

If it was checked, then you have a simple solution and should be able to see your mouse again Angela. Come back if that did not solve your solution :)

Also try this to see if you can find your mouse anywhere on the screen

Goto Start > Control Panel > Mouse

Click on the Pointer Options tab

Ensure that the checkbox for Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key is

checked

Click on the Apply button
