Battery won't charge after it drained out 100% plus can't boot.

Hi,

My macbook was working fine until my magsafe charger's pin got broken. I unplugged magsafe charger as it was not charging and had faint green light. I continued to use Macbook until all of the battery drained out and laptop got shut down. Next i bought a new 60W magsafe charger and connected it to macbook. Now I get no light on magsafe. When I click power button, it doesn't turn on. I bypassed SMC by pressing power, then connecting magsafe and then releasing power button. This works only when I remove the battery. When I connect the battery it didn't turn on and this procedure of bypassing SMC does not work.

When laptop turns on via bypassing SMC and then I attach the battery, the battery doesn't get charged and I get no battery status in Mac. I can restart the mac with battery plugged in. But when I shut down mac and then try to turn it on with battery inside, it doesn't turn on. I tried all the procedures mentioned on net i.e. resetting SMC, resetting NVRAM etc but nothing worked.

Kindly suggest a solution for this.
