Why my brake light only works on 1 side
My brake light only works on 1 side after installing aftermarket rear fog lamp. The way I did was, I tap the brake wire direct to the fog lamp. Red wire to existing red wire and same on black wire. The fog lamp works fine but when I press the brake, there is no lights at all on the fog lamp tap wire side. Did I miss anything?

explain this " I tap the brake wire direct to the fog lamp." Is that the side where you tapped in?

On the left side tail light, there is 3 wires plugged to the socket. I splice 2 of the wire which is black and red and leave the green wire alone. switch the lights and it's working but when I brake, there light go off.

Okay, did you splice the brake light or the tail light?
