possible to downgrade the ios
I had the same problem with my 4s, wifi greyed out. is it possible to downgrade the ios back to 6.1?

Hi George so I have answers for you, if you're Wi-Fi has grayed out you can reflow the logic board and that almost always fixes it. Also you can only downgrade back to ios6 if you dumped your shsh blobs. If you didn't or don't know what they are then no there is no way to downgrade.
