Will my music be saved?

If I replace the logic board, will all my music still be there?

I have been told I will "probably" have to restore the iPod once the new logic board is installed, thus erasing all the music. Probably?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

awesome. One last question: So I can take all 80gb of music off my ipod hardrive and store it on my computer or external HD with this device?

by

Yes you can, but you will have to use some software and you can not use iTunes. Again, the type of software depends on what computer you use.

freddy gumin, it most likely wants you to restore after a new logic board. I suggest a USB to Zif adapter (~$5 on ebay) for your hard drive. Then back your files up to your computer. Not sure what computer (PC/Mac) you are using. I use CopyPod on PC to back up my repairs. Hope this helps, good luck.
